7. Yeah I just caught that at the site... |

If you're putting your hopes and energies into the Democrats winning the 2006 elections
Check out the following:
Top 10 reasons NOT to put your money and resources into the Democrats Democrats on the slaughter in Lebanon Ned Lamont: False Hopes, Bad Terms, and Ticking Clocks Cynthia McKinney Ruled Out of Bounds A Call to Action for the Women's Movement and Everyone Who Cares About Women's Lives Fitzmass Cancelled: No Free Lunch for the Democrats With Friends Like These… Bob Casey, the Democrats' posterboy anti-choice candidate Let’s Not Impeach the President Open Letter to the Anti-War Movement
Whatever... so they think this protest is going to change the country all by itself? Oust both parties or something? I'm still going but...

6. I will be joining my co-workers |
|
at work, where I have to be.
Why can't they schedule these things on a weekend, fer crying out loud? The turnout would be 4 times more, at LEAST.

9. know your organizers Oct. 5 |
|
The WCW organizers do not support our democracy. They are revolutionary communists who support the violent overthrow of the government. They have recruited signers to the principles of the march to lend credibility. But the fact remains: their STATED GOAL is to keep progressives/liberals away from the polls in November, and they are working to divert donations away from Democratic candidates into their own coffers.
March if you must. Just don't donate to them, and don't let them confuse you.
We've been down this path before, following the pied pipers who urged us to vote against Democrats. The result was visible on Thursday, in Congress.

10. Fair enough, i guess; |
|
"don't let them confuse you"
And donate to (local) grassroots causes where you know and trust the people involved.
Besides, voting Democratic is ultimatly a matter of voting for Dem candidates, not so much voting for "The Democratic Party" - just vote fot the right (or Left, if you will..) candidate.

It's protection of the Constitution through a Democratic majority.
Do you like what has happened over the past six years because too many on the left were bamboozled by the pied pipers who urged them not to vote for Democrats?
Well?
I will NEVER NEVER NEVER put any ideology above the need to protect the Constitution. The only way to protect the Constitution is to elect Democrats.
Got a problem with that?

13. I've never voted for ANYONE but a Dem |
|
My momma didn't raise no fool.
But I'm not going to poo-poo what could turn out to be a very important show of public force just because "Ewwww, they're commies!".
March. Keep your money in your wallet. Vote Dem.
Problem?
Deal.
