10. Exactly - it's neiher justified nor 'sour grapes'
Edited on Tue Jan-24-06 01:30 PM by TahitiNut
It wasn't the 'No' votes that were 'partisan' - it was the nomination itself! It's appalling that 'partisanship' is always cast as a one-sided failing, when the Bushbots deliberately select the person MOST OBJECTIONABLE to the left.

Edited on Tue Jan-24-06 01:32 PM by RobertSeattle
"Sour Grapes" is quite a slanted answer.

FYI - a similar thread pointing to this poll is already in Greatest (11 Votes)

11. Done. How 'bout "Justified, b/c they can vote however the hell they WANT"!
This question isn't asking about "the partisan divide".

It's strongly implying that Dems are wrong to vote against him because he has "solid credentials". It is also implying that the only justifiable reason to vote against a nominee would be a "refusal to discuss" views on key issues.

Neither is the case.
