Poll question: Once more...Will the Senate Democrats Filibuster ScAlito?
Now that we know ALL committee Democrats voted no on ScAlito, will 41 be united to support a filibuster?
What say you!

11. I phoned the DNC, and told them that this was a watershed event
for me, and my continued support of the DNC depended on the democratics fighting it with everything they have at their disposal

She said she would communicate my feelings

4. It's so hard to "read" them, isn't it?
Edited on Tue Jan-24-06 01:40 PM by in_cog_ni_to
I think they're doing that on purpose. I think they're going to waylay the repukes on this. They want the repukes to think they're skeered and then SURPRISE....your ass is filibustered. ;)

9. It would be more accurate
to rate the odds that they will filibuster

Right now?

I'd say 45% Yes
55% No

13. Is that what we're reduced to?
Are we really to the point where its more important what the republicans think of us than actually doing what is right?

17. Well, I think they will filibuster.
Call me crazy, but I think they just may. We haven't heard a word about it, no, but that's all to the good, imo. I can only imagine how the M$M would be frothing at the collective mouth and whipping people into a frenzy. We'd hear even more about how Dems are channeling OBL. :eyes: We'd hear how a filibuster would be treasonous behavior that will bring about the end of civilization. :freak: All that over-the-top bile the vermin are so good at spewing. Pulling off a filibuster without giving the wingnuts and their parasites advance notice is highly-preferable.

Then, again, I could be all wrong. But,... No, I stand by it. I believe there will be a filibuster! :patriot:
