2. Hasn't the running joke been, will someone please give Bush a B.J.

So we can impeach him....

Not Bush, but the GOP golden boy and a Congressional House Leader that covered it up....

The essence of the joke was true. Something juicy....something the public can feel morally superior about...

I wish people cared more about the issues then scandals, but hey, whatever will take the criminals down!

The S&L scandal was very complicated. Most people didn't delve into it.

6. Ironic and quite an indictment of the American political process
and the priorities and attention span of Americans at long last.
And apparantly what we can only look forward to more of, since that's the apparent catalyst and formula. Sex scandals, sex crimes, sex sensationalism that fall into opposing parties laps and eclipse all else.
