I wonder what other info Woodward has been sitting on

He's coming forward now with info he had before '04 that pretty well eviscerates *co's claims about 9/11, Iraq, and other things.

Why did he wait so long? Why now? What else does he know? Is he twisting some arms (or are his arms being twisted) over what he still hasn't released? Did the staunchly pro-war WashPo tell him to sit on it if he wanted to keep having a job?

In general, WTF is up here?

4. I suspect he's done a complete RAM dump,

on account of the fact that after this book he's never gonna get another invite from the White House. It's quite possible that his previous hagiographies (the first Bush at War book was especially nauseating) were calculated to get him access to Bush and his buds. Flattery gets you everywhere, after all. But I think Bob will now be blackballed -- no more cozy talks with the Supreme Leader -- so he won't get any more material for more books. Might as well tell all now.
