Its actually kinda funny...This guy is talking about what Nature reported about-the suppression of research on the ties between global warming and Hurricanes...

And this guy starts talking about it and its BLATANT that he has NO idea what Nature is...And he is talking about science confidently and its clear that he thinks that because the journal's name is "Nature", it must be some "new-age hippie" journal that doesn't really have anything to do with science...

I mean I know that:a) If you are not in science you don't necessarily need to know the stature of Nature, b) Right wingers don't care about facts...
But still, he is on CNN for chrissakes...couldn't someone have told him that its one of the most prestigious layman-friendly journals in science...

Edit: I am writing to Mediamatters about it even if no one watches him. You shopuldn't be able to tar one of the most selective scientific journals on a channel many people get their news from. Nature is very outspoken about the suppression of climate change science.

She's a former prosecutor whose whole schtick is that her fiance was murdered and the killer was let off free by a corrupt system that supposedly cares more for the rights of the killers than of the victims (you know the routine). Nevermind that this whole story turned to be largely fabricated by her (she was dating a guy that was murdered, but the "travesty of justice" angle was basically BS).

She hates defense attorneys and believes herself to be THE crusader for victims' rights.


She even recently berated a woman whose infant was missing.

The woman later committed suicide before the interview was scheduled to air, and even after being informed of the suicide she still ran the interview.

She's truly vile; at least Glenn Beck has never berated anyone to suicide (how's that for a compliment? ;-) ).

you mentioned how he just instinctually goes into the traditional right-wing propaganda mode of "smear the source, ignore the message". They all do that. I think they do it without even trying. sewer and Fox-wanabee. They just haven't quite reached the extremes of Fox yet, but they are catching up pretty fast, expanding their outreach to the freepers & braindead with trash like Beck. I'm amazed Jack Cafferty still has his job. Outside of Keith Olbermann and the satirists (Stewart/Colbert) there isn't much left that isn't info-entertainment or Foxified on the entire for-profit side of televized news. Just take a gander at any local news show from one of the old major networks (ABC/CBS/NBC). Identical, interchangeable, stupid and scary as hell. National is just as depressing. CBS putting featherweight Miss Smiley Perky Pants Katie Couric in the anchor seat was very telling and extremely depressing.
