Think about this. Under the law passed last week, the kid who |
|
reported Foley and his family could have been "disappeared" for giving material aid to terrorists and "harshly interrogated" until they said it was all an Al Quaeda plot. No one would know where they went or what became of them. Could that be why the story came out when it did?
Republicans, keeping themselves safe from exposure since September 28, 2006.

3. This is the kind of hyperbole |
|
that will very quickly make whatever good arguments that can be made by the Democrats as to why this is a bad law seem like chicken little hysteria. Please, stop the silly drama.

Show me the section of the law that you believe states that an American child and his parents can be "disappeared" for turning in a pedophile congressman. It's a bad enough law without exaggerating it,and when you do,you lessen the real impact it could have.Enough already.

8. Not "for" turning in "BEfore" turning in. This Administration has |
|
turned the law on its head, I put nothing past them. "Material support for terrorism" means whatever they want it to, they can get the evidence they need to support that conclusion by "harsh interrogation." Without habeas corpus, who would know anyway? Your view relies on the government not abusing their power under this draconian law.
