Haven't even heard the word 'torture' on the morning shows.
Americans have so many political travesties heaped upon them from this absolutely sick administration, that they have gutted the Constitution this week and no one is talking about it.

1. C'mon! Do you think that Americans would wake up educated?
We are surrounded by sheeple who did not pay attention in class (when they were there) and did only the bare minimum so that they could graduate.

They don't know what the "Bill of Rights" are.

Even if you read them aloud, they won't understand them.

It's only when they are several months into a prison sentence for a crime they've not been charged with that they'll begin to question our new legal system.

And as you and I know, that will be way too late.

4. Post the Bill of Rights, and Preamble at work
I took my program from the John Murtha fundraiser for MN candidate Coleen Rowley, that had the Bill of Rights and Preamble and Constitution on it.
Rowley's opponent, John Kline, is one of the co-sponsor of the Torture bills.

I high-lighted parts relating to what we are losing with this bill and if they asked why I had it out I ask them to read it. I hope it sinks in on election day.

6. Sigh, here we go again.

Average Americans are not getting all worked up about the torture bill because they honestly believe that it has nothing to do with them. You and I know that that is not the case, but Mr. & Mrs. Joe Sixpack are not us.

However, the Sixpacks have kids. And they love a good sex scandal. Watching the drama unfold is how they unwind at the end of the night, and it's what they talk about at work the next day.

The Torture Bill is our worst nightmare. The Foley scandal is the Republican's worst nightmare. I can't imagine anything worse for them right now.
