Edited on Sun Oct-01-06 09:49 AM by Algorem
he says 'but first we have breaking news - pictures of Mohammed Atta TURNED UP OVERNIGHT(?)...",then shows part of the video.

"Turned up overnight"?"Pictures"?

He ends it by saying how it shows Atta was planning 9-11 l-o-o-o-o-o-onnng before 9-11-01(You know-when Clinton was president and didn't stop him,of course).Anyone who thinks Bush friend Bob Schieffer isn't a Bush mediawhore, give me a break.

1. Bush Appointed Schiefer's Brother as Ambassador to Australia
If I'm not mistaken.

2. Breaking? They had this tape for 5 years....
The story is why it is "breaking" now.

Even so
they need to ask what was B*sh doing for his first eight months while Atta was roaming around America?

3. I'm confused by why this video is coming out now
I heard earlier that it's been around since we went into Afghanistan but the WH wouldn't release it to the US media, and that it's out now only because the UK media somehow got hold of it. And yet the datestamp on it 01-08-2000 (Aug 1, 2000) would put it during Clinton's administration, which makes me wonder why BushCo wouldn't want it released to use as more fodder for their 'it's Clinton's fault' propaganda.

Also there's no sound to it, just video. Apparently they tried to get a lip-reading interpretor to decipher what they could, but no joy?

I suspect there's a substory (or subplot) to this video, something damaging to BushCo.

6. The soundtrack was "America is now weak with an idiot soon in charge...
so we can put our plan into action!"

I could see Osama's lips forming those words.

4. Just underlines the fact that when Bush left
Afghanistan to attack Iraq, he blew it.

5. I agree. I can't stand Bob. I even heard him say on his show that he
had supported the Iraq invasion. What kind of "newsman" would share that information with his audience? He is vouching for the invasion when he states that he was for it.
