Typical Freeper Excuse -- There's no "there" there
No There - There

If this was such a heinous crime and the parents had the first information about it - why aren't you Libs demanding the arrest of this kid's parents for not reporting it to the authorities? And let's have him testify under oath in open court - right?

Look - this Foley guy is a creep and no one is defending him, but no crime was committed here. This is essentially the legal equivalent of an adult yelling at a 16 year old girl to "Show me your Tits". It's offensive and can and should be grounds for firing, but it isn't criminal.

No sexual contact. No solicitation of sex. No crime. Otherwise, why hasn't Foley been arrested?

As for the GOP leadership, they never saw the IM texts that everyone is referring to, only e-mails that were apparently much less suggestive. Also they were simply respecting the wishes of the kid's parents to end all contact with Foley and keep this thing quiet.

Foley's gone, so can we now talk about our Nation's Security?

inhabit--find out exactly what is in the air and water that they can be so totally disconnected from reality. might make a nice break.

6. Fine. If everything's okay, then you should have no worries about...
...investigations. Just to make sure everything's okay. For the sake of the children.

Edited on Sun Oct-01-06 12:56 PM by misternormal
... They're sending them to Iraq to get put into harms way... to stay the course for their fucked up agenda...

I don't think they care about the safety of children at all.

11. Yes, but they never hesitate to CLAIM they care about the children...
...whenever it'll score them political points. Let's hold 'em to it.

10. And by the way anyone telling a woman nice t*ts just committed a
crime too. Sexual harassment. Foley went far beyond that with continued im conversations that continued to harp upon the same theme of the sexual. He's a predator plain and simple and should be tried under the very laws he helped enact.

12. I wonder if this person is old enough to have kids of his/her own.
And would react this way if, say, a male teacher were the one sending those "much less suggestive" emails to his/her son. Somehow I don't think so. I hope to God Foley is arrested, and prosecuted under the same law he sponsored regarding adult exploitation over the internet.

Follow the chain of posts. They just get better and better as this person tries to change the subject and misstates facts and events.

18. Nice try, freeptard! The "Libs" don't want to arrest the victims family,
so obviously there was no crime?

Remind me again who asked for a full House investigation, and who shuffled it off to the Ethics Committee?

19. Wonder what that freeper will say
if Foley is arrested?

For that matter, what's the difference between what Foley did and all those sexual predators that get caught out on TV (on whichever network it is that does those sting operations with pedophiles)? All those guys got arrested for doing the same thing as Foley, so why shouldn't he? Those men had "no sexual contact", so using winger reasoning they shouldn't have been arrested either. God, I swear freeper brains are just wired differently than other people's.

For the record, I don't have any respect for the boy's parents because they didn't report Foley to the authorities. I know if it happened to my son, I'd be all over it. I don't understand why they'd want Foley left alone to target other boys.
