It sure doesn't seem to be a "come to Jesus" moment.

I find the masks on the faces of Foley and (??) to be very telling. That's the mask I have always seen on the faces of bigots when being "polite" in the presence of minorities. It's the White Boys Club mask - one that (being a nominally white male) I've seen all-too-often. It's very often worn at country clubs and in corporations. There's something in the eyes that doesn't match the 'smile' - something predatory.
