(1) Turns out my brother isn't sure Karl signed off on his appointment as Chairman of the Federal Salary Council or not. I am trying to figure out where it stands. Can you ask around when you get a moment?
(2) Do you know if correspondence dept is able to do that letter for our Atlanta partner?
Thanks. Let's grab lunch soon.

(1) According to Schlapp, they've "pushed back" on your brother but we're still pressing on it.
(2) Correspondence got my request but they've asked to have Counsel review before they proceed.

Thanks a lot. Who is pushing back? Do you know? Let me know if there is anything I can do.

I don't know. Frank should press KR since he's staying at his home right now.

"Back again. His name came up for an appointment as chair of the Federal Salary Council. Seemed like slam dunk. It's a good job for my brother given his labor background and should be fine with Dems given his Teamsters work. Well, just heard through 3rd party that Schlapp (maybe Rove) are getting "push back". Not sure if it is coming from right or left, but I just wanted to make you aware and if you want to talk to someone over there, let 'em know my brother is solid and will serve 43 well.
