2. I saw Andy Card on today, trying to mitigate the awful truth.

The thing I noticed about Andy was that he looked EASILY fifteen years younger. And I don't think it was just the good makeup (and it was good TV makeup--not too obvious, but well applied). He must be getting eight hours every night for a change.

He didn't deny what's come out, particularly about Powell, but he did try to spin it as "sweetness and light" with everyone on the same page, as opposed to the "knife in the ribs" characterization that Woodward applies to the events.
