Has Foley had actual "physical" contact with any of the boys?

I know nothing about sexual perverts, so I don't know whether the emails are enough to satisfy this man, or does this usually mean that he intends to follow up with physical contact?

I haven't seen this question asked yet, so I am curious just how far we might anticipate discovery will take this.

I'm starting to think some of these other repuke congressmen had a little pedophile ring going on because too many are coming out to defend a pedophile. I think the whole email to the kid in Louisiana was just a way to "test the waters", since the kid was back home..

He probably "reached out" to see if the kid might have spilled the beans to his parents.. he did..

10. Based on what I have seen in my work with such people

is that someone is not this agressive with grooming unless they have had success but not recently. He may have had better luck as a younger man and may have more difficulty now that he appears old to his targets, making him more reckless. However, sucess also makes a pedophile reckless, feeling like they know what they are doing. He apparently had a reputation among pages serving the leaders of the US government. THAT is reckless.

It was clearly pathological grooming. He was almost certainly offended upon as a teen.

He learned the grooming techniques somewhere.

He will likely kill himself in my opinion. It will likely come either upon the announcement of a criminal investigation or upon bail after arrest.

The emails are always grooming. Contact is the intent of all of them, even if they know they don't have the courage to actually go through with it. They have a pathological need to offend, just as you or me has a pathological need to have legal sex with a consenting partner.

Finding a victim in such a public case is always difficult. They have usually been paid off or blackmailed, and have no incentive to come forward and destroy their life, their privacy and talk about how they were victimized. For what? To destroy someone the victim may still have confused opinions of?

They may find someone, but it is far from certain. However, if there are records of an offense against a child in the files regarding the complaint and nothing was done, there should be hell to pay by Hastert, Reynolds et al.

where just observing or talking about the act is the desired end result. So basically we are at this point looking for a full bore sexual predator of children. Not just someone who masturbates to naughty emails. ?
