It's time to step up and buy Democracy Bonds

There's an article in the NYTimes magazine about Howard Dean's 50-state strategy and the opposition it's getting from the party machinery.

The essential struggle is between the people who believe we should leave NO election uncontested, and the people who believe we should only focus on closely contested races in so-called "swing" states. Neither strategy works without MONEY.

If every person on DU gave 10 dollars a month, that would be 12 million dollars a year! That would be enough to put 8 permanent staff members on the ground in every state! Or enough to run a really nasty last-minute advertising blitz against Ah-nold in the LA market!

But neither one will happen unless you contribute! It's really easy and totally painless!
