GOP Staff Warned Pages About Foley in 2001
By MADDY SAUER and ANNA SCHECTER

Oct. 1, 2006 — A Republican staff member warned Congressional pages five years ago to watch out for Congressman Mark Foley, according to a former page.

Matthew Loraditch, a page in the 2001-2002 class, told ABC News he and other pages were warned about Foley by a supervisor.

Loraditch, the president of the Page Alumni Association, said the pages were told "don't get too wrapped up in him being too nice to you and all that kind of stuff."

Staff members at the House clerk's office did not return phone calls seeking comment.

Some of the sexually explicit instant messages that led to Foley's abrupt resignation Friday were sent to pages in Loraditch's class.

FBI Opens "Preliminary Investigation" of Foley
October 01, 2006 6:00 PM

Brian Ross Reports:

The FBI has opened a "preliminary investigation" of disgraced former Congressman Mark Foley over the sexually explicit Internet messages he sent to congressional pages, all male high school students under the age of 18.

Agents in the FBI's Cyber Division have already begun to examine the texts of some of the messages, according to a FBI spokesperson.

Officials say the FBI and Department of Justice lawyers are trying to determine how many such e-mails were sent, how many different computers were used and whether any of the teenage victims will cooperate in the investigation.

If the page staff knew, then the GOP leadership should have known. There's NO way they can justify ignoring Foley for FIVE YEARS, not to mention keeping him on a child protection committee!

6. You'd think that in a normal world that would be the case
But this is the republican party, somehow Clenis will be blamed for it.

I don't know which disgusts me more: The fact that Foley was a child predator or the concept that the Republican leaders knew about it and chose to do NOTHING!

How many children would have been spared if they just turned him in the moment they knew

9. The GOP always reserves the right to inspect children...
Inspecting chilren at primary shools for virginity has become a trigger issue in this Madison, Wisconson
school district. Republican adults insist on being able to grope small children to verify their sexual preferences.
School administrators have noted the statistics are difficult to take down in to the computers. Some republicans
prefer just to grab young children from the genetalia, whilst others use more devious methods involving parading
themselves as police, broadcasters and members of congress.... "

16. Do you think this is an isolated incident?
So, if its just 1 teenager its ok, but what if its a hundred, what if
the terrorists have made a deal with the republican page-fucking caucus,
what if they will all get off scott free and there is nothing you can do
about it now that republicans have legallized torture and child buggery.

This is NOT an isolated incident, the republicans have trained their party
systemically to follow these behaviours:

20. ever read Sheri Tepper books?
deal with women's and children's issues in other worlds (humans though). Turns out she used to be in charge of Planned Parenthood in a state, which makes sense. Your writing was a good piece, glad it was fiction, so far.
