Newsweek says Jack had an Iraq client. Kos says Jack knew about Iraq.
Put the two together and what do you have?

The e-mails, obtained by a House committee, show that Rove's executive assistant, Susan Ralston, may have violated a White House ban on accepting gifts worth more than $20 from lobbyists. At the same time, Ralston—who previously worked for Abramoff—was helping the lobbyist and his associates set up meetings with Rove and providing them with inside info about presidential appointments and White House decision making, including at least one matter relating to a business deal in Iraq for an Abramoff client...

I was sitting yesterday with Karl Rove, Bush's top advisor, at the NCAA basketball game, discussing Israel when this email came in. I showed it to him. It seems that the President was very sad to have to come out negatively regarding Israel, but that they needed to mollify the Arabs for the upcoming war on Iraq. That did not seem to work anyway. Bush seems to love Sharon and Israel, and thinks Arabfat , is nothing but a liar. I thought I'd pass that on.

1. Was Abramoff working for the Saudis?
Perhaps they needed Saddam's output off line.

5. Arabfat?
This shows that the Republican power structure is every bit as childish and ignorant as their freeper/moran base.

7. The Coruption of the RWing is widespread and deep.
With more digging it may still be possible to indict Rove on crimes with his deals with Abramoff.

8. Must kick, along with my Rec.
Diebold AND Iraq customers? In addition to ripping off Native Americans?

And wired into the WH through Rove and Ralston?

I think the only silver lining for Repugs in this story is the shine of handcuffs.

9. BFEE is the War Party

These turds were making money off the Civil War, selling both sides from Missouri. They've been in the middle of America's wars since then. In World War I, they were called the "Merchants of Death." They helped create Banana Republics that they used as colonies. In World War II, they helped arm and then encouraged Hitler. Afterward, as parents of the military-industrial complex, they helped form the CIA, import former NAZIs to fight the Commies, and fueled the Cold War. They've made money off of wars since then, too, from Iran-Iraq war. Consider Iraq and before, Vietnam. JFK tried stopping them. Too bad most people who could do something about helping him didn't.
