Sept. 11 Panel Wasn’t Told of Meeting, Members Say |
|
They Lied to the 9/11 Commission. ~snip~ WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 — Members of the Sept. 11 commission said Sunday they were alarmed that they were told nothing about a July 2001 White House meeting at which George J. Tenet, then director of central intelligence, is reported to have warned Condoleezza Rice, then national security adviser, about an imminent Qaeda attack and failed to persuade her to take action. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/02/washington/02woodward.html?_r=1&oref=slogin&pagewanted=print

2. Guess it doesn't really much matter, since Kean is helping to |
|
rewrite history their way anyway with a little help from Disney and ABC. What's one more "Condi screws up" episode...they've ignored all the others up until now.

once we/they take congress, we PROMISE to get these three people under oath (let's add that swine Zelikow, the gatekeeper) in front of a congressional committee, and have them testify under pain of TREASON (forget wussy PERjury) to what they can remember of that meeting.
time to take off the gloves, dems
let's GO
I've HAD ENOUGH, already!!!

6. Thinking about memory. |
|
Imagine that you are a superintendent of an apartment building. In July, one of your maintenance employees comes and tells you that the boiler is badly in need of maintenance. You ignore him. Two months later, the boiler blows up. What is your first thought upon hearing the news? That you were warned about this very outcome two months earlier.....
Imagine you are the National Security Adviser. In July, an employee warns you that there is very high likelihood of a major al Qaeda attack. You ignore him. Two months later, there is a major al Qaeda attack. What is your first thought upon hearing the news?
The answer, in the second instance, is no thought at all.. You don't recall being told, you never mention being told to those investigating the incident, and then, when word finally leaks out 5 years later, you deny any memory of ever being told.
Which of these scenarios seem more plausible, especially considering that so much more is at stake in the second?
