I could forgive Poppy's failings if he'd call his son a failure |
|
Woodward said Bush Senior is privately appalled at the invasion of Iraq. I would love to see him publicly appalled, Babs be damned. He is the kind of son a father should disown.

1. I could never forgive HW's failings... |
|
when I consider our current Monkey in Chief is his biggest failure. It would be gratifying to see him publicly ashamed of his loser son.

4. did bush senior tell woodward that he is privately appalled at |

the invasion of iraq? well, and in writing this question i suddenly realized that while bush senior may be privately appalled at (possibly how bad the invasion of iraq has gone) he may not be appalled at all at his son. he goes around the country telling everyone that his son is the president. he demands that people call his son the president. he excuses his son saying that he has a very "difficult" job (no wonder the boy goes around saying, "it is hard work") and, the bushes lie a lot--and if poppy is not doing anything but supporting his son silently, then poppy must be all in favor and support of his son and horrified at the daring of those "terrarists killers" as jr. likes to call them.

6. I saw a show where Bush 41 said |
|
that he didn't think invading Iraq was a good idea. That's all he said and he said he would never talk about it again. Wish I could remember the show.

7. Interesting that Scowcroft would leak this nugget |
|
it makes you think that Poppy wants it on the record that HE didn't support the greatest folly in modern American foreign policy.
