Big, Giant Dumbass?

Seriously. Journalists have, in the past, written that B*sh is "incurious". Woodward will say just that in his new book. What are they REALLY trying to say, and why the hell don't they just come out and say it?

7. Bush would have loved that old party record --
"The Farting Matches". That was way back in the early 1950s and it was a surprise to me. Come to think about it, the hosts were Republicans.

3. Incurious, to me, means willfully ignorant...
One of the most annoying personality traits there is, in my opinion.

17. Yep!
Intellectually apathetic. Morally uninterested. It fits in nicely with the rest of his life of failing to live up to the advantages he was given.

13. Best example is his behavior in the kiddie classroom.
I can't think of anyone I've ever worked for who - upon receiving such news - wouldn't have stood up and demanded a phone and a TV. But Georgie just sat there like a dumbass. THAT's incurious.

16. * says, "I'm the Decider!", and after he "decides" something, like stem cell
research ethics, he seems to have no further interest in it.

Dubya seems just too self-interested and too self-important to take an interest in much outside the purview of his next uninformed decision. He's proud of the fact that no "ousiders" influence his decisionmaking, only his inner circle His communication with the rest of the world is one way: outward.
