I'm Fucking Tired Of Scumbags Blaming Alcohol For Their Behavior |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-02-06 12:44 AM by ruggerson
Sorry I'm not buying it. I didn't buy it with Mel Gibson and I don't buy it with Mark Foley.
I have a cocktail or two sometimes after a hard day at the office. It doesn't make me run into the street screaming anti semitic slurs and it doesn't make me instant message young pages with provocative remarks.
Mark Foley is a lying, hypocritical piece of garbage.
Drunk or sober.

3. Bullshit. Alcohol isn't the problem, unless it is for the whole House. |
|
When this went down, alcohol wasn't mentioned. And BTW, we're to assume everytime he communicated with a PAGE, he was loaded? He then has other problems. As does the House leadership who didn't report it.

The only way someone acts like a scumbag on alcohol is if they really are a scumbag. I drink and have never once been arrested or even had a misdemeanor, or even been in a car accident ever.

I think Foley might have a little trouble since he hurt the young teenage boys.

A cruel asshole. He used booze as the excuse. Abusers will use any exccuse to avoid self blame and having to be GUILTY and change.

11. Exactly. If someone is a perv, they are a perv with or without alcohol. |
|
Alcohol may lower inhibitions, but it doesn't bring out behavior that isn't already in you.

12. Darn, Folks please stop confusing Tom Foley with Mark Foley... |

Even Laura FLanders made the mistake on the radio tonight until, I guess she got bombarded with calls and emails.
re: OP's assertion that "Tom Foley is a lying, hypocritical piece of garbage." All together, now, the pervert IS MARK FOLEY... NOT TOM!!!!
Please guys.... Tom Foley was one of ours. He was the last Democratic Speaker of the House until he lost a reelection bid many years ago. After that, He became Japanese ambassador and I have no reason to believe he was anything but a very honorable man that doesn't deserve to be attached to this scandal..
Once more, with feeling, ok? IT IS MARK FOLEY!
