Republicans guilty of Moral Relativism... propogate the meme! |
|
All this talk about the "moral relativity" of specific e-mails just proves that Republicans subscribe to moral relativism, the very meme they love to slime Democrats with.
The fact is that the boy complained about the e-mails a year ago, calling them sick and making it known that they were not welcome. (This also came to the attention of the Republican leadership of the House at the time.) Is that not black and white enough for a Republican? Didn't they see the moral outrage right then and there?
Apparently not... they had to wait another year and claim that the e-mails that the leadership knew about were not lewd or lascivious, just "overly friendly". Look, if the kid complained back then, it was sexual harrasment at the outset.
Now the rethugs have to deal in moral relativism to try to slither and slime their way out of this one. Look Mr./Mrs. Pontificating Republican, you can't have it both ways. It's was either wrong at the start and was worthy of investigation, or it was not.
Pass the word... Republicans Endorse Moral Relativism!

1. That's been on my mind since they "compromised on torture." |
|
I've been meaning to throw that in some church people's faces at the first opportunity I get.

2. I prefer to call them the party of Lawlessness. |
|
Whether it be Foley's questionable activities with pages; Delay and Abramaoff's criminal activities, or the WH's obvious deceptions and power-grabbing. All of it.
They are completely out of control and must be held accountable for their blantant disregard of the laws of this country.

3. You don't understand. "Moral relativism" is one of their phrases... |
|
...that they use to suggest that they have a lock on moral absolutes. Torture and Foley are two good ways to shatter that myth once and for all.
