Let CNN know what you think of the foley case
http://www.cnn.com/exchange/ireports/topics/forms/2006/10/foley.html

Rep. Mark Foley resigned Friday amid allegations that he had exchanged inappropriate e-mails with teenage congressional pages. Foley, a Republican from Florida, leaves his House seat vulnerable in an election year when Democrats hope to regain control of one or both houses of Congress.

What do you think about the Foley resignation? Will the fallout affect your vote this November? Why or why not?

1. At least he didn't torture the boy
In the news are two items having to do with 15 year old boys.

One, injured by emails sent by an agent of the US government.

The other held in Gitmo and tortured by agents of the US government.

2. mine.
The Republicans have shown themselves to be the hypocritical,holier-than-thou creeps that they are.Republican leaders have enabled Mr. Foley's predatory ways for years.Rep.Reynolds accepted a $100,000 bribe to the RNCC from Foley to look the other way.All these elected officials care about is covering their elected butts. They have no morality,no values beyond that of perpetuating their majority-at the expense of all these kids(and maybe many more).Shame on them, and shame on any news media that gives these criminals a free pass.

3. Done
I believe that if it is found that other government employees knew of and covered up Foley's actions against pages, they should be charged with aiding and abetting. Allowing Foley to remain on the committee on the exploitation of children was insane.

I keep thinking things can't get any more bizarre, but they do.
