Let's Not Let the Torture Issue Die
I'm a lot more concerned about that issue than I am about catching Foley.

We need to be sure that we keep that right up front.

1. I think the remaining questions about rape at Abu Ghraib should be
brought up AGAIN.

Considering the fact that we seem to have perverts in the Republican controlled government. Can we REALLY say there wasn't a coverup there as well?

2. You know there is just a whole laundry list of stuff that we need
to keep front and center.

I wonder what is the best way to do that? This Foley thing is pretty bad for the Republicans - and the coverup may prove to be the worst part of it all.

But defending our constitution against asault is really an important issue for the long term. I would think that sexual assault issues would go right in there with other kinds of torture.

I really don't want this bunch of sociopaths defining what is torture.

3. Combine the two
There is news of a 15 year old being held in Gitmo. Not only held, but tortured. The Foley case has 15 year olds involved but not tortured.

And both cases spring from the same republican mindset.
