News Print and TV Coverage in IL protects Hastert
Every newspapers and TV news is saying Hastert did nothing wrong. John Laesch had a blep on ABC 7 news in Chicago but thats it. Hastert seems like he will walk away from this. Hell he knew but like always Replugs get away with it.

1. Where's Larry Flynt when you need him?
It would be priceless if he were able to assist in the takedown of yet another corrupt GOP House Leader.

11. Be sure to select, "More Papers in my area"
To get the Beacon to pull up. I used 60543, to ensure it did pop up under that option.

3. Picket his campaign Headquarters and didtrict offices with LARGE SIGNS.
And picket the news studios if they ignore that effort.

Threaten them - tell them if they won't cover the protests outside his offices, you'll take the protest to THEIR offices for COVERING UP FOR HASTERT.

4.  i dunno - today's print Suntimes was pretty bleak.
His fat ugly face plastered in color, HUGE, with a supersized headline
"HASTERT CAVES"

Even the bears blowout didn't affect their coverage.

13. Not surprised about the Beacon. But wait til the coverage gets worse
and the beacon finds itself under LTTE attack.
which, of course, we should be doing now.

9. From our Local Paper (Kendall County)
http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/beaconnews/news/80005,2_1_AU02_EMAILS_S1.article

Here's the kicker (last sentance)...

The scope of the investigation, Hastert wrote, should include "any and all individuals who may have been aware of this matter ..."

10. Decatur Herald And Review (Right-wing) didn't even mention Hastert.
Edited on Mon Oct-02-06 12:07 PM by Beelzebud
Not one mention, and the story was on the A-8. The last page in the A section is A-9.

12. The local papers in Hastert's district are almost entirely republican
I'll be surprised if they even print a letter to the editor about this, much less a resonable article.
