"Only Nixon could go to China" = "Only Aravosis could say PASS THE RULER"
John Aravosis at Americablog.org is really doing some of the most hard-hitting coverage of Foleygate:

Of course, downplaying the suffering of sexually harassed children is nothing new to Denny Hastert and the GOP. On Friday, GOP Rep. John Shimkus described Foley's youth outreach thusly:

In that email exchange, Congressman Foley asked about the former Page's well-being after Hurricane Katrina and requested a photograph.

Isn't that special? Foley simply wanted to show he cared. Pass the ruler.

It doesn't hurt that Aravosis is an important gay activist with an excellent track record of going after Ford and Microsoft when they were caving into to anti-gay bigots. Just as "only Nixon could go to China", only John can say "Pass the ruler" regarding Foleygate.

Here's my dream-team cable news interview: Nancy Grace interviewing John Aravosis and Matt Drudge about Foleygate!
