I read that earlier, but I haven't found any pix of the truck.

5. To my understanding, the truck was not his.
He reportedly borrowed it from a friend.

12. your understanding is correct. i heard the sheriff this morning as he
was briefing the media on the shooting and the shooter. the truck was a borrowed truck (i can't recall whether the sheriff said from a relative, or a friend--but it was a borrowed vehicle.)

but, what could have happened twenty years ago, that the man wanted to avenge it now, and avenge it in such an awful, awful way!?

Hubby and I had to drive around for almost a week in his Mom's car with * stickers all over it when we visited her in Sarasota. Ick. I felt like I had to take a shower every time I got out of the car. I was just glad that nobody I know saw me.

11. If this were true, I wouldn't be surprised...
I can't see a liberal male doing this sort of thing. The MO is white, angry, feminine-hating asshole who listens to Rush/Hannity and voted for Bush. Liberal males are secure in their sexuality, for the most part, and they truly like and respect women, so they don't feel the urge to go around raping and murdering adolescent girls to express their utter contempt for 'the feminine'. I'm so angry, disgusted and alarmed at the recent shootings targetting young girls. No, I'm not the least bit surprised, and pretty much expected this.

Lancaster has voted Republican in every election since the Civil War.
