5. Laesch Calls for Hastert Resignation
'Mr. Hastert if you had a moral fiber in your body, you would have resigned when your honor was still intact, long before you got tangled up with Tom DeLay and covered up a child predator.'

9. Here is what i know......
John’s younger brother, Sgt. Pete Laesch, currently stationed in Iraq, asked John to run against the gargantuan rubber stamp who represents their district in Congress. John is keeping his promise to his brother that he made in 2003.

John is 32 years old and grew up in West Africa where his missionary parents were stationed. They moved to a farm in Newark, Illinois when John was 12. He enlisted in the Navy when he was 21 and served as an intelligence analyst in Bahrain, monitoring terrorist activity and analyzing foreign political and military structures, winning numerous citations and meritoriously rising 5 ranks within 3 years. John knows what Richard Clarke and President Clinton did to thwart terrorism. John suffered a non-combative injury to his knee that sent him back to the states. John has since left the military and is currently a union carpenter.

side note: In the spirit of Wes Clark, John is not a politician. He is a true patriot devoted to serving his country and preserving the America we know and miss.
He is a real cutie pie and he fell in love with his campaign manager and they are now engaged! AWWWW!

12. I heard him on Bob Kinkaid
a few weeks ago - and I was VERY impressed so I sent him $50 and I got a thank you letter in which he hand wrote his own thanks and signed - I WAS VERY IMPRESSED by that - lets hope he is getting so many contributions now that he won't have time to put personal messages on the thank yous - but some how I have the feeling he will.

Oh yeah and like you said I also read on his website that he has gotten engaged to his campaign manager!

Got to love that - a political love story.....

3. Funny thing about that district
the outer edge is around 20 minutes from here, on Interstate 80. Hastert has an office there. Think I may visit soon.

6. Already done!
Are John's donations going up any since the Foley/Hastert/Shimkus and Company debacle? Inquiring minds would like to know.

8. Hastert has millions
Send Laesch $5.00 or more if you can......every little bit helps. We need yard signs here in the Fox Valley. Hastert signs are part of the landscape. We have 36 days remaining to officially reject a man who has become a national disgrace.
