BEWARE! I Don't Mean To Bring Everyone Down.... However
far too many times, FAR TOO MANY TIMES... in the past year we have felt we won the "Gotcha Game!"

FAR TOO MANY TIMES it has turned into MUSH! I am pleading, begging on my knees to NOT get complacent about the November elections!! We need to keep WORKING for the the Rights of We The People!!!!

Need I remind you that even while all this turmoil is swirling about Foley... we THOUGHT and ALMOST were convinced the Fitz was going to be our SAVIOR!! NOT... NOT!! Fitz fizzled.

Be ever vigilant, we are dealing with some EXTREMELY devious personalities, they have become MASTERS of THE SPIN!! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER let your guard down, you will get blind-sided!! Do not sit back, do not feel comfortable and DO NOT believe we have "turned the worm!"

Democrats have resorted to a certain mentality that they "learned" from the Repuke MENTALITY! Money rules ALL! Be ever vigilant, GOVERNMENT has sunk to it's lowest levels and still is being courted by all too many LOBBYISTS! Lobbying is is a NOUN and knows NO Party affiliation!

I heard Bill Moyers today talking on Democracy Now about Murtha and how he has been able to perfect some super "pork barrel" deals. Don't get me wrong, Murtha has been staunch, but check out the website for yourself. www.DemocracyNow.com I TRUST Bill Moyers much more than anyone in Congress!

Outta here... need to administer some care-giving to my mother-in-law, 94 with severe Alzheimer's who has lived with us fore over 7 years. Just wanted to post this, but I must sign off!

6. Well, My Observation Is That IF Amy Goodman Was Discussing It
somehow it rises above the level of "simplicity!" I am ever grateful to Murtha for his stance regarding Iraq but I wonder WHY it was an issue TODAY with Bill Moyers!!

Having said that, Democracy Now IS NOT where most people go for regular news, most of all those in the middle and most definitely NOT Repukes, but it is out there. Who know when some dip-shit will call him out???

8. No, I didn't mean it was a simple thing
It's just already well known, or so I thought. I am very seldom ahead of the pack when it comes to information.

4. I don't deny that Democrats have to sometimes be made to do
the will of the people. But it beats a Republican Party who is religiously insane and couldn't care less what the public thinks. I mean, why should they? Thanks to Diebold, the newer ones aren't put in Congress by the will of the people in the first place

7. What would be the biggest October surprise?
Iran invasion? Too risky and already talked about. Attack in this country? Again, thought of and might backfire.

Ok, at the risk of perhaps becoming an "enemy combatant" and having the FBI come down on me (do we still have free speech around here?), I would say an assassination attempt (fabricated, of course) would be the biggest October surprise.

Rally the "troops", national outrage, sympathy for Party in power, etc., etc., etc.

But then, maybe I have been reading too much Nostradamus and Tecumseh Curse.

9. Murtha's deals are a big yawn to most Americans.
They expect this sort of thing, or at least they've become complacent about it. Look at Stevens and the bridge to nowhere. That was a total fiasco and it blew right over most people's heads.

Nobody is resting on their laurels now. All the Foley scandal has done is to give us a second wind, a little pat on the back from the Universe to encourage us that maybe, just maybe, things will be set right again.

10. Oh I'm Sure They Are, It Was Just Me Not Feeling Super
"comfortable" knowing that I KNOW this is information out there. I did say that I doubted very many run of the mill voters would EVER know about this. While I remain a Democrat, I have to say I'm talking about what I felt were Democratic values. THE VALUES that I felt represented us as Democrats!

We ALL do it to some extent, give in to certain situations that you know in your heart you don't believe in, BUT because of the way humanity has evolved, you give in merely to SURVIVE!

What we've lost is our integrity, so because I DON'T know how to fix the problem I condemn less from my side because to me it's become a "battle" to actually come out with an alternative view and not be skewered by the vultures who are so quick to prey.

The mere fact that you mentioned that most people think it's a big yawn, tells me that we are in a tit-for-tat race to see who wins. Kind of like keeping some sort of score, balancing morality on just how much "ammo" we have to fight with, and if our fighters are going to stick with us and then of course, do you have enough money to get into the game and play!!

No, I'm not worried about Murtha's problem getting over-blown... I'm just worried that I feel that "our secret" is just something we managed to keep off the radar screen.

My initial post was BEWARE. I actually mean it... we are playing a game these days, and we are playing it with people's lives!

11. Don't Worry. If It's One Thing Bolstered In My Mind, It's How Important
November is. All this stuff going on right now are just catalysts for the final act. The final act is masterminding a GOTV effort like politics have never seen, while the downtrodden repub parrot fuckers stay the fuck home in despair.

13. Listening To C-Span This AM & Many Of The Repukes Calling In
to Washington Journal I truly wonder if they will actually stay away! Wing-Nuts, Numb-Nuts and Stupidity still abounds!

IMO I don't actually think the Foley matter should be portrayed as a "partisan" issue, but so many Yay-Who's are calling in dredging up everything CLINTON, Barney Frank and the older issue in '83 that had one Democrat and one Repuke being censored for inappropriate behavior and sexual conduct, each with a Congressional Page! While Crane did not get re-elected the Democrat from MA did get re-elected several more times... so therefor they are once again saying that at least Foley resigned and the Democrat didn't!!

THESE people are fomenting this into a GAY ISSUE and simply ignoring the fact that it's actually more of an act of a Pedophile! I also feel Foley would not have resigned so quickly if he didn't know there was MUCH MORE to the story. There was a woman on C-Span today who heads up a watch-dog group on the ethical conduct of members of Congress, Repuke or Dem who stated that they had brought this matter to the attention of the FBI last July and NOTHING was done. She wasn't siding with Democrats or Repukes but she kept trying to say to the MORANS who called in that one must LOOK at the cumulative amount of corruption and abuse perpetrated by THIS Congress over the past 3 years at least!

Unfortunately again, far too many of these wackos just don't get it!! It's beyond me how they can say these things with a straight face when they have foisted this "Family Values" issue upon the American electorate, the push for their agenda of Fundamentalist ChristianInsanity and painting any Democrat as a non-Christian or liberals as inferior people! Funny how they so easily seem to abandon this same moral outrage when it concerns one of their own. And most of them seem to have forgotten just HOW MUCH coverage the Clinton affair got and that he was actually brought up for Impeachment for his behavior, not with a minor but with a willing partner!

I DO NOT condone in any way what Clinton did and have wondered many many times how a seemingly super intelligent person could have let himself get caught doing what he did. I have felt for some time that he may have been set up from the get go with Monica & Linda, but that is beside the point, he should have KNOWN better!! And while I feel he certainly is one of the best Presidents we've ever had, he did succumb to this human frailty. As I write I'm listening to a discussion about Hillary Clinton and her run for the Presidency and ONCE AGAIN... Repukes are calling in talking about BILL CLINTON and how disgusting he was and how they will work very hard to keep him OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE if she runs! This is one of my MAIN oppositions to having Hillary as a candidate. THEY WILL NEVER let Bill Clinton's behavior go away and I simply do not want to have to argue this issue all over again! A woman just called in and made the statement that if Hillary was President we will be ATTACKED again because Democrats won't do anything to fight against terrorist! This kind of crap is so embedded into their brains that they have no ability to think beyond the proposed "talking points" that they are given to repeat ad nauseum!!

Hillary is capable, intelligent and could take them on, but it's not a wise choice IMO to have her as a candidate. I'm also not comfortable with her move so far to the middle and has yet to condemn the Iraq war.

Nuff said for now.

18. hear,hear.For Real.
For some reason all this seems too good to be true.I've taken the leaked NIE report,Woodwards book and now FoleyGate with a grain of salt.
It's going incredibly well for us right now but I just cannot get excited about it.I won't get excited until we definitively control the House and or Senate.

THEN???yeah, then I'll celebrate.Till then I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop...I can't help it.After the Kerry loss in '04 I refuse to get my hopes up about this.
