HOW does one become a congressional page?
i've never heard of opportunities to spend a summer working for the US congress, nor do i recall ever meeting anyone who was, wanted to be, or had ever been, a page for the US congress. what is the process for being a page? i'm pretty sure it's not advertised in the 'help wanted' ads?

does anyone know?

3. thanks! i wonder why so many HS juniors never hear of it?
i know that west point recommendations, for instance, are highly sought by HS students. how do the future pages know how to apply?

4. I never heard of this either
Being a page wasn't exactly advertised at my high school either.

A guy I know paged the summer before his senior year. He said that pretty much there had politically connected parents or relatives.

7. You have to have connections.
That's all there is to it. It's not really open to just anyone.
