Condi and Tenet and Clarke. Condi given advance warning similar to the August 6 PDB.

Condi denies it.

Henry Kissinger is BAAAACK.

All that stuff gets kinda complicated. So, let's talk sex.

Better yet, make that kinky sex.

1. Yes, Rove sent the emails!
Rove set the fire in Southern California!
Karl Rove did it!

Karl Rove was on the grassy knoll!
Karl Rove was in Fords Theatre (Booth was just a patsy!)
Rove was across the street from the Lorraine Motel!

Rove ordered troops sent to Vietnam.
Everything happening on earth is controlled from Rove's office.
This satire making fun of the idea that Rove controls everything? Who do you think really wrote this?

2. i'm listening
i can sort of see his point, but does it really make sense that Karl Rove thinks that the Republicans are better off looking like they're soft on child-predators?

10. Yup. Even I can think of beter "distractions" than outing GOP
Congress members as pedophiles. Some people seem to think that Rove controls everything that has poltical import. What he actually does is control the spin that highly disciplined party-bots and loyalists spout.

4. If a GOP sex scandal involving the Speaker is a GOP campaign tactic,
then that has to be one of the most stupid moves in political history

Heard that dinosaur say that the 'sex scandal' has legs.

I despise Gergen and Woodward. However, they seem to riding the front wave in the class war that is just about to swamp Jr.

11. Repubs didn't care about raping habeus corpus,
they didn't care about the bridge to nowhere, they didn't care about $3.00 gas prices, the didn't care about 2700 soldiers killed for oil, and they didn't care about haliburton stealing billions in taxpayer dollars. What makes you think they would care about a meeting in July of 2001 or Kissinger? The christofascists who vote these corrupt repubs into office are glad that 9/11 happened. They want the country to crash and burn because then they'll know the rapture is coming. Remember the Isreali massacre of Lebannon?

The only thing that's going to hold these people's attention in a way that just might stop them from voting repub is a scandal involving a massive coverup of male repubs fucking little boys. Sorry to put it so bluntly but that really is the only thing. Even if it had been girls at the receiving end of these filthy degenerates lust the religo-nuts would have been okay. The sooner we understand that the quicker we can get on our feet again and fight for this country. Bernie is just wrong this time.

13. Let's be honest with ourselves...the average American is not all that...
...well informed when it comes to politics.

Complex stories like Tenet verifying Condi was informed of terrorist threats and stuff like that plays well with those of us who really follow politics.

Sex scandals in Congress involving teenaged boys and coverups...that's the kind of sensational shit that gets people's attention even though the other story is more shocking if you think about it.

I rather doubt Rove would try to distract from the Iraq thing by creating a sex scandal involving republicans a few short weeks before the election. That's just nonsense.

14. That's like cutting off your ears....
to stop people from looking at your big feet. Rove's no idiot and he knows what this is doing to the repubs for the election. He didn't set this up but he will try to spin it as best he can. That's what we need to watch out for.

I think he is....if you say he's not and that he is just a homosexual doesnt that just give the GOP more amo against homosexuality? I personally think he sounds like a predator!!

they ALWAYS ignore?

Get a fucking grip. How did Rove convince everyone to ignore the DSM? Abu Ghraib? These fucking constitution-destroying torture and spying shennanigans?

No, unfortunately, this Foley deal is about the ONLY thing that can get the public's attn. regarding how full of shit the GOP is.

20. Yes, Rove Planned This Easy-To-Understand Scandal
to distract from a more complicated and nuanced one. Because memos and meetings elicit a more emotional repsonse than powerful men taking sexual advantage of children and other powerful men protecting the pervert.

What, exactly, is Bernie Ward smoking?

Listened to him for years. This time, he's wrong, way wrong.

This is a nightmare of biblical proportions for the GOP; the thing that Bernie doesn't realize is that the Woodward book, Condi/Rumsfeld being caught lying about 9/11, Abramnoff having close ties to the WH etc all will flow together w/ Masturgate (thanks to my bro Mr. Scorpio for inventing that)to create a perfect storm, a storm that not even Karl Rove can stop.

All of those scandals are going to be well investigated and reported, if only because it's all part of the larger pattern of fucked-upness this administration has heaped on us. It's too late folks, the train really has left the station.

Sit back and enjoy the massive GOP train-wreck...

23. yeah and remember Katrina!
How many of our citizens died? HOW MANY?

They don't know because bodies are still popping up in from the Bayou!

and now we have this ...

and Woodward's book ...

and almost 3,000 dead young soldiers

torture torture torture!

and another 3,000 dead on 9/11

and we think that this is all there is to it?

Another Rove cover-up?

I think not!

Evil just by the nature of what it is will eventually destroy itself!!!
