3. I've got a democratic senator who acts like a republican...
...but I've got to be careful from now on. Ever since the November 2004 election his office has threatened legal action against me as they feel I'm constantly harassing and trying to intimidate them.

7. yep...both
He's a complete fraud and piece of shit in my opinion but he's got all the old people down here convinced that's he's their protector and he's good buddies with Jeb Bush too.
Maybe I shouldn't have wrote letters accusing him of being a fraud, that he needed to do his job, that he wrote me back one time with two different opinions that contradicted eachother because I was fucking with him that time to see if he was really paying attention. One week I wrote that I opposed the war, he said he did too, a month later I wrote that I was scared of terrorism and he needs to stand behind our president and keep me and my family safe, he wrote me back and told me not to fear, he was behind Bush all the way, then when I said I was going to send the letters to the media, (big mistake, big mouth, oh well) the nasty letters started to arrive.

but for now my lawyer advised me not to. There was a little bit of liability as far as the intent of why I sent the two different letters. If I had done it as a matter of fact, not much of a big deal but to say I did it on purpose and was going to use it against him in a public forum....well....oh yeah, using threatening language through the US mail was thrown in my face too.
Anyway, his dad (my lawyer) was a local politician at one time and he advised me of ways they deal with so-called trouble makers who are not well known public figures, like myself if they can't stop you with threats or with legal action. An audit every year maybe, your house address gets accidentally mistaken for a meth lab raid, etc. but as far as anything like jail or fines, no, maybe some type of injunction, a cease and desist order, but possibly something federal using the US mail for harassing letters. He said the letters were my property and I could do as I like but there may be consequences, maybe BS, a waste of my time but it could cost me legal fees.

The advice was on the house.

13. Check out this message,
which was posted by converted_democrat a week ago. It got almost no attention but it deserved a lot. I'll give a short synopsis of what he said but read the whole thing. He explains how, every Sunday Morning, thousands of people in churches are told to call their Senators and Reps and exactly what to say to them. And they are told to call ALL DC and local offices with the same message, in order to make it appear that a greater number of people are calling. This works because, as the saying goes, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. We need to be even squeakier then they are, and we need to email, phone and FAX every office!
