AOL polls typically peak at around 200,000 votes and these are at 140,000 — and AOL's "news cycle" will end pretty soon.
The Freepers got to this a long time ago and en masse.

4. I read elsewhere that Faux's news ratings were dropping |
|
and CNN's were going up. That is the poll that really counts.

6. I don't think you can take AOL polls seriously. |
|
I believe AOL users tend to be older, less-computer savvy, conservative types by nature. I have nothing concrete to base this on, however. My feeling is simply that most AOL users sign up with it because it comes bundled with their computer and the ones that stay with it are not knowledgeable enough, adventurous enough or curious enough to know that there are better alternatives out there. That description also fits right-wing Republicans.

7. Good point, tenshi! Young, computer-savvy people wouldn't touch AOL |
|
with a 10-ft. pole. But, as you also said, right-wing Republicans would go for AOL, too; after all, if they go for one loser, it stands to reason why they are attracted to other losers.
