They LET 9/11 happen, didn't warn us, yet there they still are. Why?

I don't get it. Why is the White House still standing? Why does everyday life go on as if? There is a serious disconnect with reality going on, and apparently I am the only one who gets it, which leads me to believe that I'm just hallucinating the whole thing.

We here have known this wretched fact all along since day one, and now the whole world knows it, America included, but you'd hardly know we know it. All those thousands of people who died DID NOT HAVE TO DIE, if only condi and dubya and the nazis hadn't desired nine eleven so badly they could taste it.

How is it that the union still stands after this tidbit of info? How is it that we are not surrounding the white house with pitchforks and torches?

I guess I'm just an old drama queen.

1. Not at all, liberty is the exception, not the rule.

Think of the 20th century, all the people who lived under Stalin, Mao, Hitler. It turns out that about half the world lived under totalitarian regimes in that century. Why should it suprise us so much that we find ourselves under one now?

Liberty has to be earned, its true what they say, freedom isn't free. Though so many who say it have no idea what that saying means.
