1. Something smells
I have always like Ben-Veniste, and for him to fold on this issue troubles me.

2. He has spoken about this a week ago, he was "outvoted"
by the others in the commission who didn't want it in. They agreed to be quiet about "for some years"...

I'll try to look it up.

6. Last week, Ben-Veniste
reveled why bush did not attack Ben ladin/Talaban after the Cole bombing. I think his hands are tied on this one. Many agreements had to be made on weather to add or delete info from the report. He's lucky he got anything damaging to bush in it.

4. Pretty sickening, eh?

Our "blue-ribbon" 911 Panel decides to ignore a "smoking gun" and then gives us this effete bullshit about "the agencies weren't talking to each other" and we've got to correct it all by putting all the intelligence agencies under the control of an "intelligence czar" like Negroponte.

The Commission's report was turned into another big whitewash. And 911 is something too important to be politicized.
