Mid-terms can't come soon enough. The Bushbots are losing it!

Even in my Bushbot, wing-nut community, they are really losing it.

Our local weekly paper (which is not available on line) has had a round of letters to the editor where a right wing nut has been defending Bush's reinterpretation of the Constitution and the Geneva Conventions. Anytime that, say, our county Democratic president writes an innocent letter about any of our candidates, Mr. Hill shoots back a letter calling her names and throws out the names "Kennedy, Kerry, and Clinton." Oh, and anyone who disagrees with the current administration is a "Bush hater."

Well, a person who has taught constitutional law wrote a letter refuting Hill's arguments supporting Bush's usurping of individual rights. She mentioned that perhaps Hill could take a civics class at one of our community colleges to give him a better idea on how the Constitution and Bill of Rights work. Well, guess what, Mr. Hill wrote yet ANOTHER letter to the editor and I will quote one of his paragraphs to you. Again, this is the true nature of the beast, and defines us versus them.

"Wow, another liberal with 52 years in Academia with an arrogant, pompus (his spelling) ego. You are exactly the type of educator who quotes books and theory, but has no clue how to apply such in the real world. You wouldn't have lasted a week in a real job."

Remarkable, isn't it? This is what we're up against. Hopefully, education and reason will once again defeat ignorance.
