Man blames school shootings on abortion and the teaching of evolution

Last night, the CBS Evening News turned their broadcast over to a man named Brian Rohrbough, who lost his son during the Columbine massacre. Mr. Rohrbough proceeded to blame recent school shootings on: 1) the teaching of evolution, and 2) abortion.

Mr. Rohrbough suffered a great loss and is certainly entitled to his opinion. But CBS does not have to broadcast his extreme views to millions of people.

The commentary was an example of CBS News’ new “free speech” segement which has been dominated by conservative voices, according to an analysis by Media Matters.

Digg It!

2. Idiots like that
that shoot their mouths off without engaging at least 3 working neurons are a prime example of why they should allow retroactive abortions.

3. Did he provide any actual evidence to support that statement?
I didn't think so. :eyes:

CBS News has officially become irrelevant.

6. Well to say that's just about the most fucktarded and unfounded
crapola I'VE ever heard in my life . . . well, it'd be overstating, truth be told, but it's still Puke-championing, wedge-issue-tossin' stupid anyway.

Bad parenting, violent culture, lack of affordable health (psychiatric) care, through-the-roof expectations . . . yeah, NONE of these factors can be blamed. It's all about the Clenis and those fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckin' libs, AIN'T it?

7. His free speech may get someone else killed - thanks CBS
in a desperate move to make up for the totally asinine move of putting perky in the anchor's chair cbs turns microphone over to lunatics. What's next? Free ads to AFA?

15. You know what, Bill Maher said CBS' Free Speech segment was BULLSHIT
Maher turned them down because they wouldn't let him talk about, of all things, religion. In fact, he said a couple weeks back on Real Time they sent him a list of prohibited topics, and he called bullshit because free speech isn't limited to a white paper listing things you can say or can't say.

That's not freedom of speech; that's censorship, and that's unamerican.

16. Makes no sense.
I could see it if he had shot up an abortion clinic, or a institution of higher learning, but he shot some poor Amish girls. I am sure they all had had abortions, and were trying to make their parents and community believe in evolution.

Then again maybe he was just a pussy, and he only had enough courage to kill some helpless kids.
