They don't, and the Republicans know it. Past screw-ups by Democrats don't excuse what Foley did.

Exactly! They have been using the same tactic a 7 year old uses when they caught doing something they shouldn't:
"But Mommy, Jimmy did it first and Tommy did it way more times than I did!" :eyes:
If we follow that logic, then all crimes should be legalized because "somebody else did it first." :P
