After all the horrible, deceitful and just plain wicked things this administration and Congress have done, it took a frigging sex scandal to blow down the house of cards. I just have to sit back in bewilderment of it all.

And the frilly bubbles on the crest of the 100 foot tall wave are the sex scandal along with all the fury and injustice of all the persons of the world against the republicans; and this monstrous wave is one of righteous fury, ready to wash a lotta repuke out to sea.

4. It's shows how screwed up this country's priorities are |
|
Lie, cheat, steal, rape, pillage, torture, kill ... "Hey, is American Idol on tonight?"
Sex scandal ... "I'm OUTRAGED! This has got to stop! Get these bums out of office!!"
I'm not trying to diminish Foley's actions - minors are involved and that's despicable - but it amazes me that so many Americans don't pay attention until they hear the word "sex." :eyes:

5. well, it's like rove always says, "attack their strengths." we should have |
|
been rooting out pedophiles and pederasts the whole time. it's something they're really good at!
what we're really dealing with here is the coverup. hastert can't deny the coverup... he can't deny that he sat on his hands. he'll make excuse after excuse, but he did sit on his hands, and now we know that the perv was having internet sex with a teen while waiting to vote, and offering him booze at his house to avoid getting "busted."

7. 10 US troops died since friday. We now have more dead troops there than |
|
dead US citizens here on 9/11. We average more than 100 attacks on US troops per day.
and neocons are claiming that Clinton and Foley are equals, somehow.

8. Yes, well sex was the least likely thing these perverts thought would |
|
...jump out and bite their asses. After all, their whole lives have been about covering up their little dirty sexual exploits, because none of their victims would ever come forward, and those who did, well, money always bought silence. This time however, somebody must have written a bum check, or the pay-off amount failed to meet the inflationary spiral in sexual exploitation buy-outs. Regardless, we should be grateful this is coming out now and quite frankly is their are democrats to be exposed, then all the better to clear out the political cesspool now. Hey, this may take the whole BushCo regime down hard just like the WTC Towers and Building #7 fell, by controlled demolition.

Reagan/Bush boy tours of the WH and the Page coverup. Probably doesn't go back far enough, but interesting thought.

12. My point if it was too vague was the shock I feel that it takes |
|
something like this for people to be outraged. Not that what Foley has done isn't outrageous but dead American troops for a lie and the utter destruction of our Constitution before our very eyes has not had the same response.

This is how politics works. Goes way back. "Dead girl or a live boy," and all that.
