Edited on Tue Oct-03-06 04:26 PM by MnFats
half the damn state, and a big chunk more under severe thunderstorm watch....St. Cloud-Little Falls area getting its ass kicked right now.
usually we're well past the first hard frost by now...
one TV station meteor guy predicting "a big outbreak" by this evening....watches turning to warnings...but this has nothing to do with global climate conditions....

2. weird, isn't it?
In the 80's in October and the humidity? I can't believe I am still doing weekly grass cutting at this time of year and that my garden is still green. I'm *sure* it isn't global climate change, but something odd sure as hell is happening.

Thanks for the update, by the way - listening to CDs, no electronic media on today.

4. We had a tornado warning last night (north of Chicago), and they
are predicting intense storms again tonight. I was impressed that the emergency broadcast system worked. The program we were watching was interrupted and we were instructed to tune in to a specific channel for details. I never heard the sirens though.

8. weird, but not
for sw missouri, but I'm not familiar with your neck of the woods at all. About ten days ago, we were in tornado warning/watch for roughly two whole days....stay safe, and keep an eye out.
