So basically I was talking to two buddies of mine a bit ago while having a smoke (both are bushies). Their take on it all was - foley should be coddled and treated because he had a mental disorder that led to all this just like andrea yates and he at least did not drown kids in a tub (basically stating - why did so many rush to defend a killer and blame her husband and others yet foley is the only on responsible for his actions).

I simply said - 'fine, he has a sickness, lock his ass up too'

But I can see it now, especially now that he has claimed abuse, he will slowly be touted as the victim in it all. Poor guy tried his best, fought his demons and mental illness, and the left should respect that and pat him on the back.

Give it about a day, if joe six pack is talking about it now rushy boy won't be far behind peddling such wares.
