If Foley did nothing wrong, why the "bombshell" today??

Foley's attorney gets on national TV and tells the world that his client had been sexually abused by a priest as a young boy. Then he exclaims that Foley "is not a pedophile!" All he's done it seems is write a few flirtatious notes to high school boys; no sexual contact. Oh - and he's gay.

So if Foley is not a pedophile, then the priest abuse story was told why? To account for his sexual orientation?

I am really confused about this....if there was no wrongdoing, why bother to say anything at all?

I have an ex-husband who's gay and he's also an asshole. Being gay didn't make him an asshole, he'd be one anyway. ;-)

All we can do is continue our grassroots efforts on the local level. I am doing my best to make sure Kinky Friedman does NOT get elected. And would you believe Kay Bailey Hutchison may actually have a close race with Barbara Radnofsky??
