There is no way in hell
Edited on Tue Oct-03-06 06:53 PM by MichaelHarris
Mark Foley NEVER had physical contact with these kids. Having spent that long in Washington and around pages he HAD to have made physical contact with at least one. My wife and I are going through an adoption right now and have been investigated to back when we were embryos. Someone knew, someone is covering up, and others are involved.

After failing to gain support with his alcoholism blame game he has turned to abuse by priests when he was a child, that's not going to work either. This is not about being gay, this is not about religion, this is not about politics. This is about a group of men in Washington who have put their greed above the America people. A greed for wealth and power bought and paid for with taxpayer dollars. Your money, my money, the countries money has paid for favors and to keep quiet about it. Foley's contributions are starting to show payments to the same government officials who did NOTHING to stop his predatory behavior. These same men who did nothing are now circling the wagons and BLAMING partisan politics for the accusations. An entire news network, Fox is doing the same.

Where best hide as a child predator? "in the House, Foley was one of the foremost opponents of child pornography. Foley had served as chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children. He introduced a bill in 2002 to outlaw websites featuring sexually suggestive images of preteen children, saying that "these websites are nothing more than a fix for pedophiles." Under the nose of government the beast trolled. He trolled for the children of trusting parents.

Ask yourself one question, if someone be it a child or an adult came to you and said, "We need to watch this guy, he has been sending inappropriate messages to children", would you forget about it? As leader of the house would you forget it? How can you protect a country when you fail to protect the children at your feet? "What are ya wearing?". Just that one question is enough to launch a full scale investigation, why didn't it happen? It didn't happen because Republican's couldn't admit the truth, they took the money, and they sacrificed children for it. They played partisan politics.

As I said, my wife and I are going though an adoption and the investigations that accompany it. We welcome the peeks into our past, we want to be good parents, we welcome the truth. How many of these same politicians could survive the peek into their past? The same who we THINK are protecting us. Trolls and freepers among us look beyond your blind faith in a political party, your Representatives knew, they took money to look the other way, they may very well be involved. Children were harmed, are these the values YOU voted for? If you read nothing at least read the words in bold.

4. Thank you
third home inspection tonight, I had to get the power tools off the floor. Who would have thought a child could hurt himself with a Craftsman 3/4 HP drill.

14. Quick! Hide that stuff.
I never knew adoptive parents had to go through the wringer. Foster parents are never treated like that and sometimes are worse than the parents would've been.

3. They couldn't survive a game of hide and seek, let alone a
decent investigation!

My best wishes with the adoption!

I'm beginning to think ALL prospective parents should go through that kine of scrutiny.

:(

6. It's been a long road
we've been close before and things fell through. This one is very close, I hope it happens, my wife is starting to let disappointment get to her. For me as long as I get someone to mow the yard I'm cool :) kidding.

10. I just cooked
her a real nice meal so she could eat before the home inspectors come at 7pm. It would probably be a good idea I put the dishes away before they get her, dishes piled in a sink will probably cost like 3 demerits.

5. Too much smoke for there to be no fire, I suspect. Part of "hiding" Foley
in rehab is probably to try and prevent knowledge of any actual liaisons from coming to light before election time...

12. You might want to consider adopting an 'older child' ...
... like one who's thirty-something, has already left home, and has a job that pays enough for mom and dad to retire immediately on his dime!

Good luck to you and yours -- even if you DON'T get one who can mow the lawn for a few years!
