How friggin dumb do you have to be to work for Faux News or be one of their graphics writers?

12. I know about listing Foley as a Dem but discussing Reid and the e-mails
is idiotic on so many levels it is unbelievable.

If they said Pelosi, instead of Reid, it would have at least made some sense to me. Bringing in Reid is just bat-sh#$ dumb.

candidate to defame the integrity of the opposing challenger or party? They are aware of what they are doing so it IS intentional. They should at least be warned to stop.

Fox News headquarters in New York City with its street-side studios on Sixth Avenue (1211 Avenue of the Americas) in the west extension of Rockefeller Center. Says Wikipedia.

I'll send this thread to the DNC. Anyone see another way hold Faux accountable?

35. Fox News is going to lose even more credibility with this crap
Even the people who watch FOX generally know that Foley was a Republican, it is a claim easily disproven and to make the same "mistake" three times is not something that would make you look very good in the eyes of a whole lot of viewers.

This is the type of thing you can shove into any Fox News viewers face to prove they lie, because even most of them know Mark Foley was a Republican.

38. Why is Fox doing that?
I thought about why Fox might doing it. It's absolutely ridiculous, too obvious and one of the most blatant acts of propaganda I can think of.
They know that Foley is a Repub, the Freepers know it and most likely the majority of their viewers is aware of that fact as well. It's a few weeks before the election so they wouldn't do anything to hurt a Repub. They could actually try to ignore the matter. It is rumored that they tried that before the emails were made public.

On the other side, the story about a Congressman talking dirty with minors is just too good when the other channels are reporting it, it's like the story of the year. They had to decide between GOP ass-kissing and the money/ratings...so in order to milk the story without hurting the Repubs, they make it a fucking affair of the Democratic party and that includes every aspect. They do not only have cute reports depicting Foley as Foley(D-FL), they also use every attack against the Repubs about the topic to slam the Dems, for example by "asking" whether the Dems ignored the warnings they received because they wanted to protect Foley's seat.

Like I said, it's such a blatant act of propaganda, one should actually laugh about it. It reminds me of one thing that Jon Stewart once said: The only one who would report the Iraq war differently if we had a Democratic President, would be Fox News. Here we see that he was so right. It's absolutely laughable and yet so despicable.

Confusoids are a form of meme that is designed simply to confuse an issue. Fox is putting out the 'Foley is a Democrat' confusoid. Consider their audience: it is the cabled-up Republic base voter. This confusoid attempts to keep them from staying home in november. It will probably work.

The Silent Majority
Written by John Foley
Wednesday, 09 August 2006

Congress has a lot of good apples, so why don't they toss out the bad ones?

...

The task would seem to fall to the ten members of the House Ethics Committee, but recent events suggest that they've been away from their phones. The Democrats have railed against the "Culture of Corruption" fostered by the Republican majority, but from whence is this "culture" born?

According to Dr. Saul Faerstein, the psychiatrist who treated convicted Congressman Duke Cunningham (D-CA), lots of things happen to people when they decide to run for office, but for the most part anything predisposing a member to bad behavior has happened well before they start giving stump speeches.

Here in Texas and I'm sure in other moron infested red states, Fox news in on public screens all over. Bars, gyms, retailers, restaurants, its hard to escape. The sound is usually down or inaudible anyway. These little crawls and blurbs are just thrown out there to infect people who are already Faux News suckers.

It doesn't matter if it's a ludicrous lie. Its just like wingnut talk radio. They throw out ridiculous lies and distortions all the time. It's never retracted or corrected. It just becomes part of the ambient repuke propaganda noise rattling in the empty heads that listen and watch.

54. Maybe to be "fair and balanced", they should make another "mistake"...
and print a story about Margie Schoedinger, the person off the radar screen in terms of accusing Bush that he raped her, and instead make the mistake of doing a story on "Juanita Broderick, who accused George Bush of raping her, was found dead two years ago with a gunshot wound to her head." That would create a stir!

60. Faux News Distort and Distract
That should be their new theme/meme.

Does anyone know what they are saying?
Are they also confusing the viewers through the spoken word?

First off I would think that someone within the FCC should be aware of this SCANDAL.

We all know Faux doesn't support reality news. The first Faith Based News Channel. They have to have Faith their viewers are that gullible and stupid....

Even though they are using a disinformation campaign, the main thing to remember is the voters in his District they KNOW Foley is a Repub. And I guess that is the one thing to consider. The voters are the only ones that will get to make the difference in Nov.

Faux News will get what it deserves when viewers realize that the place they thought they could TRUST the "news" coming from Faux is nothing more than disinformation. They will start looking for other sources of information that doesn't get the FACTS WRONG, on purpose.....
