"Republicans never lose, they just turn everything into a WASH"

A post from another board:

The way this is getting spinned reminds me of what Bill Maher said in his interview with Bill O'Reilly. One of the things the GOP is best at is turning anything into a Wash. After the whole issue of GWB's lack of military everything the GOP quickly attacked Kerry's record. It all got so bogged down and confusing the public said "Well there was shit with Bush and shit with Kerry...it a Wash!"

It means they never lose a battle, just draw. As mentioned, soon it will be a bi-partison scandal with heavy leanings on why the democrats didn't out the guy sooner. People will be so confused they will just dismiss it. A wash.
