What else does Kirk Fordham know? Cunningham, Foggo, Doyle
This could just be the tip of the iceberg of what he plans on telling the FBI today.

Onetime Loyal Aide Now Stands to Undermine GOP
Former staffer Kirk Fordham says he'll tell all to the FBI in the Foley case, poising him to take on the leadership he once served.

By Peter Wallsten and Tom Hamburger, Times Staff Writers
October 5, 2006

WASHINGTON — For 20 years, Kirk Fordham was a loyal staffer and strategist — rising from his early days as a Capitol Hill intern to the coveted post of chief of staff to a senior congressman.

1. I need to quibble with the headline
"Onetime Loyal Aide Now Stands to Undermine GOP"

I would argue that (barring evidence to the contrary) Fordham is not formerly loyal as the headline suggests but has rather allowed his loyalty to country and truth to overcome a misplaced loyalty to liars and perverts. He still appears loyal but that loyalty is no longer misplaced.

2. Reynolds & Foley Weren't Tied Into Foggo
But two other Florida Repugnicans were...Kate "boobalot" Harris and the now exiled Porter Goss.

I think we have several concentric rings in action here...all doing their thing and moving in the same direction but with very little intersecting. You had the money ring around Abramoff, another around Safavian and Foggo and Wade and another around Rove and another around the "Log Cabins" and so on. All ships rose with boosh/Rovian domination and diversions. But now that it's broken down, the rings are starting to crash into one another.

Doyle is the interesting link here. Wasn't he with DHS? Also from Tampa. I wonder if there was a connection here.

What set up my radar was the local Chicago TV report...(I'll check later to see if its posted online) where the reporter...who interviewed Hastert yesterday, said Fordham was gay (first time I'd heard this) and how he was going to expose others...implying gays. I see it coming directly from Gym Teach Denny as his last gasp "get out of jail free" card.

3. Weren't most of those names linked to the Watergate poker parties
recently? Or am I just remembering some DU speculation about who was there?

Damn it's hard to keep up with which corrupt GOPers are part of which scandal. We need a freaking organizational chart. Maybe we could replace the carpet in the House & Senate floor with it, as a reminder to those who come after we clean House.

4. Cunningham, Foggo and Goss were at the "poker parties"
:eyes:

I'm not trying to make a connection to Foley and these other scandals per se, just wondering out loud what Fordham may know about them and tell the FBI.

The only thing I remember re: Goss and Foley, was Foley was a huge backer of Goss as head of the CIA and was disappointed when he resigned.
