No Child Left Behind here some facts

This Morning ,President George W Bush is holding several events where he is highlighting the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT.

Perhaps the President should fucus his remarks on how House Republicans are drastically underfunding No Child Left Behind Act- providing $16.4 billion less for education in FY 2007 than was promised by the 2001 No Child Left Behind Act.

The Republicans on the House Appropriations Committee reported out h.r. 5647 ,THE fy 2007 Labor-HHS-Education Appropriations bill, way back on June 20. However, Republicans have refused to bring the bill to the floor of the House because they don't want voters to see the significant underfunding in the bill for critical education,health care,and human services programs. Instead , they are hiding funding bill until after the election.
