That question is for people who have voted republican.
"Will allegations that former Republican Rep. Mark Foley exchanged sexually explicit instant messages with a 16-year-old former congressional page make it less likely you'll vote Republican in November?"
For dems, the answer is no.

I hate stupidly formed questions. That must be qualified with "Who are you most likely to vote for ?"

limit the question to Republicans and Independents. That's what I think CNN had in mind. But including the 50% of voters who had no intention of voting for Republicans anyway seriously distorts the results.

about as backwoods-redneck you could find and also a hardcore Democrat, if he voted for bush last time, and he said in his slow drawl, "I wouldn'ta voted for that dang idiot even if he was a Democrat!" LOL

OTOH hand it is, typically, written so badly that it is worthless as any kind of gauge.

9. 61% Yes - Kinda silly of me to vote |
|
I haven't voted for a republican since 1976 and I doubt very seriously that I will ever vote for a republican for anything. So its more likely that dennis hastert will tell the truth today then it is that I will vote for any one of the criminal bastards on the ballot.

not quite true. The Foley thing has not made me less likely to vote for a Republican, because there was zero chance of that to start with.
