So Denny is 'responsible' but will suffer no consequences? WTF?? |
|
I wish I could take responsibility for speeding without paying a fine, or break whatever the hell law I want to without penalty.
All ya gotta do is say "I take responsibility" and it's over? Suh-weet. Guess I missed a meeting.
This is such bullshit.
Is Foley off the hook then Denny, since you took 'responsibility'? Or could Foley taken responsibility have already negated the need for you to do so?

5. Republican responsibility.......is an oxymoron. |
|
Like their leader Bush, no crime, no matter how heinous, has negative consequences.

8. If the rumors about two more Repugs getting swept up in this are true |
|
Denny won't have a choice in the matter because it will no longer be the mishandling of a situation caused by one bad apple - it will be a full-fledged GOP sex scandal and cover-up!
NOTE: I think it qualifies as a full-fledged scandal and cover-up right now, but Denny seems to be playing it like it was simply an honest mistake. There's no way he will be able to do that if more Repugs are involved.

9. Hastert is going to find out that wishing doesn't make it so |
|
He's a piñata, and the dems now get to swing at him repeatedly until the GOP gets rid of him. Like Trent Lott before him, the surest way to get tossed aside is to become too big an embarrassment to the party.
