1. You don't want source code.
That's the computer code that makes the program run. You probably want an executable install file. What are you trying to install?

5. a podcast is simply an audio file usually of mp3 format
You can download them to your computer and play them with winamp, realplayer or windows media player.

6. Then how do I get to the podcasts on
Moyers' site? http://www.pbs.org/moyers/moyersonamerica/moyersonpbs.html

I can't find anything that looks like an mp3 file. Just info about iTunes and this other software.

7. Or push them farther along and play them on...
Or push them farther along and play them on your iPod
(hence the name) or other personal music player.

10. It's very easy, but it can be confusing at first.
What you want to do is go here (http://juicereceiver.sourceforge.net/index.php), first, and click on the download link for whichever computer platform you're running (Windows or Apple). (This is the Windows version, to make it simple: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/juicereceiver/Juice22Setup.exe?use_mirror=superb-west)

After you do that, you want to copy and paste this link ("http://www.pbs.org/moyers/moyersonamerica/podcast.xml") in to the subscribe to a new feed option, which will subscribe you to a list of all the podcasts available for him.

It's a bit confusing. Have you thought about using iTunes? They offer podcasts directly through the music store (one click subscription - still free), so you don't have to fiddle with subscriptions and XML and whatnot.
